Chinnery Construction was engaged to complete the replacement and upgrade of existing stormwater infrastructure to improve drainage capacity and resilience. Works involved the removal of the existing DN750 culvert and headwalls, followed by the installation and backfilling of a new 2500 × 750 mm box culvert, including headwalls, header beams, and aprons.

The team reshaped the inlet and outlet to ensure smooth water flow into the new culvert and reinstated the road surface where disturbed, supplying materials, completing construction, and applying new road markings. Final works included reinstating topsoil and hydroseeding along the disturbed edges, inverts, and outlet areas to ensure environmental stability and a tidy site finish.
