Upper Sefton Rd Stormwater

Chinnery Construction was engaged to deliver a range of earthworks and structural improvements aimed at managing stormwater flow. Works included reshaping the existing swale to increase water capacity, installing a flood gate, and filling the swale with boulders set to designed heights. A concrete retaining wall was constructed to direct water flow, while a timber retaining wall was installed to stabilise the banks and prevent collapse. To ensure safety and protect the area, fencing was installed around the new swale.

Key works included bulk earthworks, concrete and timber retaining walls, GPS-guided excavation, and bank stabilisation, all coordinated to ensure effective stormwater management, site safety, and long-term durability.
