Wilson Dr Stormwater Upgrades

Chinnery Construction was engaged to complete a comprehensive stormwater infrastructure upgrade involving the removal and replacement of ageing drainage assets and associated civil works. The project included demolition and disposal of existing stormwater pipework, sumps, grates, precast wingwalls, and outlet structures, followed by the installation of new DN375 RCRRJ Class 4 stormwater pipeline infrastructure and associated connections.

The works also involved construction of new precast wingwalls, installation of security grills, modification of existing inlet connections, and replacement sump infrastructure complete with compliant grates and frames to CCC standards. In addition, existing footpaths were removed, ground levels raised, and new asphaltic footpaths constructed to match the required design levels and improve site accessibility.

All disturbed areas were fully reinstated to an “as before” or better condition, with the project delivered in accordance with relevant standards and health and safety requirements. The completed works provided a durable, compliant, and upgraded stormwater solution designed to improve long-term network performance and resilience.
